Microscopic Refraction

Taking a-part old broken cameras, a plastic piece with a lens attached to it fell out from one of the cameras. Playing around with the piece, I realized that it served as a macro lens.

Taping it to my old HTC smartphone, I ran around documenting different textures from objects and edited the documentation down to 30 photos.

Instead of presenting these photographs on a wall, I chose to present these micro-scopic photographs on to a sculpture that was inspired by the way light refracts within the bodies of cameras.
